An error has occurred while performing HTML-Cleanup: 'Illegal group reference'

 Hello,
With openCalais API, I have sometimes this error message: An error has occurred while performing HTML-Cleanup: 'Illegal group reference'
What are these illegal groups references ? I need to understand it to update my application to avoid these characters.
